Ultraviolet (UV) SYSTEMS
Inactivate Harmful Organisms
Water Tech Ultraviolet (UV) light water treatment disinfection technologies such as Smart Stream. UV sterilization is a simple and rapid physical process where water containing harmful organisms is exposed to UV light. The UV light quickly inactivates the microorganisms by destroying their ability to multiply and infect, inactivating up to 99.9999% (6-Log) of harmful organisms.
Highly Effective in Inactivating Cysts, Bacteria, Viruses, and Parasites:
- Chlorine Resistant Protozoa Cysts - Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia
- Bacteria - Cholera, E. Coli, Legionella, Pneumophila, Salmonella
- Viruses - Hepatitis A, Polio, Rota
- Parasites
Environmentally Friendly:
- No toxic chemicals required
- No creation of harmful disinfection by-products
Benefits and Features Include:
- Minimal maintenance
- Lamp rated for 12 month continuous service
- Highly polished stainless steel reactor chamber
- Audible and visual alarm indicates lamp failure
- Auto lamp reduces energy during no-flow

Adjustable Deionization Systems (DI)
High Recovery, Adjustable TDS Removal
Water Tech supplies Voltea CapDI© Capacitive Deionization (DI) tunable total dissolved salt (TDS) removal of 25 - 95% and up to 95% recovery at less than 0.5 kWh/m3, with no chemical costs.
Voltea CapDI is a tunable water deionization technology designed to remove dissolved salts from water sources ranging from tap water, brackish groundwater, to industrial process water. CapDI achieves this at lower cost and reduced environmental impact than any other available technology.
Scalable
Voltea CapDI systems are modular, allowing easy expansion to meet any increased water demands.
Adjustable - Tunable
Voltea CapDI is tunable, allowing adjustable TDS reduction between 25 - 95% depending on customer needs, eliminating the requirement for blending to achieve a specific water quality. The customer sets their desired reduction rate and CapDI maintains this level, continually adjusting itself to account for any fluctuations in feed water characteristics.
Applications Include:
- Wastewater Reuse
- Cooling Towers - Scale control with no chemicals
- Industrial Laundries - Prevents dull gray linens
- Agriculture - Removes damaging sodium from seawater intrusion

Tequatic Plus
Ultra-High TSS, Solids Filters
Our DOW TEQUATIC™ PLUS Filters are continuous cleaning, cross-flow filters with forced settling and solids collection in one device. These filters remove total suspended solids (TSS) of 100 - 10,000+ mg/L from difficult water streams, and can filter down to 15 microns, even in the presence of fats, oils, grease and other contaminants.
TEQUATIC™ PLUS Filters require no backwashing, minimal filter changes, and low (or no) chemicals, to provide high water recovery, reuse water, and reduced surcharge and water costs.
TEQUATIC™ PLUS Filters are supplied on pre-engineered skids and are effective as a pre-filter, primary filter or final filter, or as an alternative to dissolved air flotation.

Automatic Grease and Oil Removal Units
Automatic Grease Collection and Removal
Water Tech grease and oil removal systems solve tough drain-water problems by automatically removing and recovering up to 98.6% of the grease, oils, fats, and incidental food solids from kitchen and food processing flows. Our Big Dipper units help prevent drain line clogging, protect septic and treatment facilities, eliminate grease trap pumping costs, and eliminate the cost of large in-ground grease traps or interceptors.
The systems are automatic and self-cleaning. As greasy effluent drains from commercial kitchen fixtures, the unit traps the grease and oils and incidental food solids. The food solids collect in a strainer basket for removal, and the grease and oils separate from the effluent and rise to the surface of a built-in stainless steel tank. The unit automatically skims and transfers the trapped grease and oils at least once per day to a removable collection container, controlled by a timer that activates the skimming wheel at the proper time. Clean water exits the unit and flows into the facility drain lines.
Water Tech non-sulfate reducing bacteria eliminate hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas and mal-odors common in septic anoxic and anaerobic wastewater conditions.
Central Units are available to efficiently service multiple fixtures from a central location, and Automatic Solids Transfer (AST) units automatically remove the trapped incidental solids with a water-driven eductor.
Units are available with capacities of 20 - 125 GPM.
Benefits Include:
- Remove effluent fat, oil, grease
- Prevent clogged drain lines
- Protect treatment plants
- Self-cleaning
- Eliminate messy grease traps
Applications include:
- Hospitals
- Hotels, resorts
- Protect treatment plants
- Correctional facilities
- Casinos
- Food processing plants
